So, sure, the year is half over, but it’s never too late to create your own personal planner. Get your life together and organize your home, life and goals with your own customized life planner!
Putting together your own personal planner is a great way to get and stay organized. Plus, it’s much cheaper than ordering a fancy life planner online. Even better? You have the power to completely customize your planner, adding sections like goals, project management, blogging and much, much more.
First things, first, why not decide what kind of cover you want? I love these covers from Handmade Home.
Now that you’ve picked out a cover, it’s time to get down to the meat of the project.
Begin by brainstorming what sections you’ll need in your planner and what you need your planner to do for you. Are you a mommy? Maybe you a need a more family-oriented planner that will focus on your family’s busy schedule. Or, are you a student? Who will need your planner to focus more on organizing goals and academic schedules?
Whatever you need from your planner, write it down, and then prioritize the sections that you need. Some of my favorite and much used sections include: blogging, home (cleaning, project management, etc.), goals, budget, travel, moving house, basic info (passwords, important accounts, etc.) and fitness.
Here are a few of my favorites printables for 2017:
Emergency contacts, Inspirational quotes and more: The Handmade Home
Weekly Planner Printables: The Scattered Squirrel
Monthly Free printables: My Love For Words
2017 Calendars: The Little Surprises
Pretty Calendars: Home Printables
Ultimate Blog Planner Kit: Designer Blogs Studio
Daily Plan Printables: The Scattered Squirrel
There are a plethora of other printables available across the internet, all it takes is a little digging to find the perfect combination of planner pages that work for you. Don’t be afraid to branch out and explore new sites, so you can create the sections that work best for you.
Put It All Together
Once you’ve decided on what sections you need and what printables you want to use, all it takes is a little ink and a few office supplies to begin putting your personal life planner together.
Choose the size that works best for you. If you’re someone who is frequently on the go, maybe you need something a bit smaller that can fit into your purse or backpack. Maybe you plan on keeping your planner exclusively in the office, which means a larger, desk-appropriate size is ideal.
Once you’ve decided on a size and printed off the necessary sections, it’s time to bind it all up. Take this time to make it look pretty, perhaps by investing in a colorful binder to hold your new planner pages.
Now you’ve got a brand-spanking-new life planner that is completely your own. You know what that means, right? It’s time to get planning!
Plan your cleaning schedules, work schedules, blogging schedules, goals, ideas and so much more. Use this planner as the key to getting your life on track!
